The off-year Mexican elections are scheduled next week, June 6 they are heating up. The President, Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador (AMLO), is being banged from all sides and though he is not on the ballot, he can not run for re-election his personal political party, Morena is.
This commentator posted a Contreras Report on the Mexico election in which I blasted AMLO because he wants to be Mexico’s newest dictator.
Nonetheless, AMLO calls the courts enemies of the people as he does the nation’s media. He calls any opponents corrupt neo-liberals every day at his so-called daily news conference. He learned that from the U.S. where pitiful liberals and anti-war people accused any national defense supporters as NEOCONS, as if that was a curse word. Ditto AMLO he does the same with NEOLIBERAL.
Joining me and many Mexican media commentators in suggesting Mexicans vote against AMLO’s party lackeys running for office, the respected British magazine, The Economist, has joined the anti-AMLO uproar and suggested Mexicans vote against his party and any candidates it supports.
Why? Because they see what I do in this former PRI officeholder who was as corrupt then as the PRI was until Vicente Fox retired the PRI from the 2000 election then repeated a Moderate/Conservative victory in 2006 when candidate AMLO -- like Trump -- refused to accept that he was beaten.
Yes, AMLO, won the Presidency in 2018 like Trump hopes to do in 2024. It was his third try.
The difference is that unless he gets a super-majority on June 6 allied with a group of splinter/radical parties that couldn’t win a national election in a million years, AMLO will dump the 1917 Constitution and write his own constitution allowing him to run for President-for-life.
In my Contreras Report I show a video of AMLO’s brother accepting hundreds of thousands of pesos (dollars) worth of secret campaign contributions offered corruptly for corruption in AMLO’s government. We also know that AMLO’s low level civil servant brother in the state of Tabasco’s government recently received a huge loan from a bank. Another brother who plays professional baseball in the jungle state of Chiapas will be playing in a refurbished stadium the government has spent over 80-million pesos on under AMLO.
The stench of corruption is all over AMLO and his party -- MORENA. Worse than that, is his looping the Mexican Army into massive construction projects AMLO has started as he canceled construction on the half-finished world-class Mexico airport and selected a new site within Army jurisdiction and gave the generals billion dollar contracts to build an airport, something the military has never done, ever.
Worse, he recently had the head of the Mexican Navy (and Marines) speak at his morning new conference to support his unconstitutional effort to extend the term of the Chief Justice of the Mexican Supreme Court. In other words, the only Mexican military held in high esteem as the only Mexican military trustworthy enough for the American drug/cartel fighters to work with, has been corrupted by AMLO.
Just one more charge of corruption AMLO’s critics can use against what looks like a nascent dictator who is spreading Mexican taxpayers money to his relatives, friends and newly befriended military.
Mexicans must vote for anyone but AMLO stooges on June 6 or a partially free enterprise Mexico will disappear into AMLO’s new Mexican dictatorship circa 2022.
